The CBP One app was previously used to streamline and promote illegal immigration during the Joe Biden administration, but President Donald Trump turned everything into his head.
After hijacking and reusing the app, Trump and border emperor Tom Homan confirmed that it was not self-importing, but illegal immigrants became useful for self-promotion.

Under the Trump administration, the app is now known as the “CBP Home App” and is now being redesigned to promote self-report of illegal immigrants rather than bringing in illegal immigrants.
“The Biden administration has used the CBP One app to enable more than 1 million aliens to enter the United States illegally. With the launch of the CBP Home App, we are restoring the integrity of our immigration system,” DHS secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement.
“The CBP Home App offers aliens the option to leave and self-destruct right now, so there may still be an opportunity to legally return and live the American Dream in the future. If they don't, we will find them, we will deport them, and they will never return,” she added.
And it's already working.
“The number of people who are self-conveying is a record amount,” says Gonzalez. “They say, 'We don't want to go that way, we just go out on our own terms.' ”
