We Will Do ‘Everything We Can’ to Rebuild L.A. After Wildfires

Housing and Urban Development Secretary (HUD) Scott Turner posted an inspiring video on Tuesday about his visit last week, showing his visit to Parisades and Altadena in the Pacific, two communities that have been devastated by La Fires recently.

As reported by Breitbart News, Turner visited Palisades and Altadena residents to learn about the needs of the community and discuss ways that could help HUD restructure as they tackle costs and other challenges.

The video is an inspirational montage of Turner's visit, including conversations in the rain with Palisade residents outside the ruins of Marquez Charter Elementary School. His Altadena tour with Los Angeles County manager Kathryn Berger.

The video's narration was taken from Turner's improvisational remarks at Altadena, where he pledged his support for the federal government's rebuilding efforts and called on California leaders to join them.

“And the leadership of this state in California – and I hope they can hear and hear my voice – put your feet on the ground. Place your hands in the air. Go with your family. Listen to your voice. Watch the screams. See the emotion. See the resolution.

“When you see it, we must do everything we can to defeat all the barriers, help people, serve our families, ease the regulatory environment, and make it easier for our families to rebuild and recover.”
