According to footage obtained by the Post, before being dragged from the vehicle by multiple officers during an intoxicated Kafahl on December 27, 2024, the former Bridgeview police chief Walter Krimek was captured by members of the Judicial Police Department, screaming obscure cameras at members of the Judicial Police Department.
“Come on, let me go!” The hostile Klimek repeatedly cried out to Buick's driver's officer, who had his airbag taken away, as he cried out at his horns, footage shows.
“What is F-K?”
Police described the insulted suspect as hostile and uncooperative, saying that Klimek responded to the scene after a high-speed crash that allegedly hit the security guard's railroad, spun it and slammed it into another car, causing injury to a passenger who was later admitted to hospital.
The footage shows the officers surrounding Krimek's car and one officer climb into the back seat and encourages “Wally” to get out of the car before unleashing his seat belt.
“Get out F-K from here,” Klimek cried out to the officer in his car. He replied calmly.
“I'm the police chief at Bridgeview,” the drunkard, allegedly said, “What are you doing here?! What are you doing here with my F-King Arm?”
At least three officers spent several minutes crying in pain as they tried to pull Climech out of the car. An irritated, unstoppable police officer tells the former top officer to “stop resisting.”
“Leave me alone!” Klimek cried over and over, squealing his horns.
“You guys are my mates. According to the video, he tweeted.
Klimek was eventually placed on a stretcher, where he continued apologised before being carried there.
After he was booked, Klimek appears confused and exhausted, and a police officer has been involved in an accident, his car was towed and he was charged with driving under the influence, footage shows.
“What does DUI mean?” replied confused Klimek.
“I'm not drunk.”
Police said Klimek refused to collect blood from a local hospital to determine his blood alcohol content.
He was charged with misdemeanors of arrest and resisting DUI.
The case is currently pending in Cook County Court.
