The Celtics tied together several team history, but were defeated in a 118-112 loss to the Thunder on Wednesday night.
Boston tied the team record with 63 Tray attempts, tied the 70 NBA records set by the Rockets on January 16, 2019 to the 70 NBA records, which they did against the Toyota Center's net.
“Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with it. I took those shots with the shooters we have and the majority of them feel like they look good,” Al Horford told reporters. According to the Boston Herald. “We got what we wanted. We drove with paint, kicked it out, got the looks. … There are different ways we can do it. If we're going to make some of them, that's probably a different story.
“It wasn't, but I'm fine with that.”
On Wednesday, the Celtics shot 22 three-pointers in the first quarter. This was the second most in the NBA game in a quarter, with new NBA records at 36 by the end of the first half.
All 30 points posted in the first quarter were made with 3-point shots or free throws, but not before the arc.
All chances allowed the Celtics to shoot only 31.7% (20 of 63) from 3-point land.
Jayson Tatum scored a 3-pointer for Team High 13 and made four.
Derrick White and Al Horford are six out of 12 each.
None of the Thunder attempted more than eight three-pointers, but Shy Gilgauss Alexander dropped 34 points at TD Garden in Boston.

Boston averaged the game this year, 3-point attempts in the NBA Top 48.0 and 17.8 trays.
The Celtics attempted as a team a 58 three-pointer in their previous game with the Jazz.
