Police say last month, a step-detained man who was inherited for 20 years at his Waterbury, Connecticut home, reportedly fled last month.

The woman identified by Waterbury Police as 56-year-old Kimberly Sullivan was arrested Wednesday following extensive investigation into her shocking claims of her in-laws.

Waterbury police and firefighters responded to reports of an active fire at their Blake Street residence on the evening of February 17th. Police said two residents were inside the house at the time – Sullivan and her 32-year-old son-in-law.

Sullivan was able to evacuate safely. The firefighter kicked her son-in-law out of the house and put him in the care of EMS as he was exposed to smoke inhalation and fire.
