The start of Formula 1 season means new drivers, new teammates, new hopes and dreams for the team and their fans.
It also means a new set of “opening titles” for the sport itself.
The opening title will start each event on the race weekend. This is a quick video featuring each driver that will be the focus of the new season. Ahead of the 2025 season opening game, Australia's Grand Prix F1 announced this year's edition on Thursday, with fans quickly realising that the iconic pose from two seasons ago had returned.
George Russell's “T-pose.”
First used in the 2023 edition of the opening title, Russell regained his iconic stance in this year's installment.

What other moments could become iconic from this year's edition? Carlos Sainz Jr. pays tribute to his incredible hair. A close-up of Fernando Alonso, the oldest driver on the grid, and an immediate transition to the youngest Andrea Chimian Tonelli. A flash cut to rookie driver Oliver Baerman and teammate Esteban Ocon. And of course, the first opening title with Ferrari Red's Lewis Hamilton.
Ahead of the first practice session in Melbourne, you can catch the opening title later tonight. The 2025 F1 season begins this weekend with the Australian Grand Prix.
