Louisville wins on buzzer-beater after Stanford gives them the ball

For Stanford, March Madness turned into “March Madden” quite quickly.

While looking at potential upsets for No. 13 Louisville, Stanford made an excellent defense in a 3-point attempt from Terrence Edwards Jr. in the 73-73 game.

Stanford's Chisom Okpara surrounded the rebound and threw it to the wrong team as Chucky Hepburn is believed to have been stolen from the defensive rebound.

The bad pass to Hepburn to Hepburn looked like an assist as Hepburn rose for a jump shot that caught the ball and won the game in one move.

The worse timing was the 10th most expensive Stanford's 75-73 loss.

Okpara's Stanford teammate could only look into the eyes and throw his hands into the air after the mistake ended the season.

Stanford still managed to create a NIT tournament, but Cardinal is not heading for the traditional NCAA tournament this year.

Louisville reached the semi-finals of the ACC tournament and met Clemson on Friday night for a late showcase.

If the Cardinals get over their 9.5-point underdog game Clemson, they will meet the Duke North Carolina winner in the final.

Kentucky's Otega Owe was not the only buzzer beater so far during Conference Championship Week as he showed off his clutch skills in an SEC tournament game against Oklahoma.

Oweh moved to the basket and drove right baseline before laying the ball for an 85-84 victory on Thursday night.

With three days of games remaining before the Sunday selection, the team removes unlikely wins on both sides.
