The 68 teams will compete to win the national championship in the final decided at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on April 7th.

UConn dominated Purdue last year to win its second NCAA Championship. But this year it looks like a much broader open tournament.
March Madness officially opens on Tuesday and Wednesday in its first four games in Dayton, Ohio.
Four of these hopefuls will advance to play in Round 1, which will take place from March 20th to 21st. From there, the second action will take place from March 22-23, and Sweet 16 will resume from March 27-28.
The field will narrow towards the Elite 8 to be played from March 29th to 30th with another break before Final 4 on April 5th.
The winner of the national championship will be crowned on April 7th.
