From the start, he said it's outrageous that the dwarf actors weren't cast as the seven dwarves in this $300 million live-action remake. In Hollywood culture, which appears to have accepted Dei as if to save Dei own from death, how do you rule out dwarf if everything is supposed to be about “sense of being seen” and “inclusive”?
This all began with actor Peter Dinklege. Peter Dinklage was overwhelmed by the idea of including a dwarves after hearing about the remake. “That doesn't make sense to me,” he said. “You're progressing in one way, but you're still talking the other way around about the seven dwarfs who live in the cave together.”
I understand why Dinklage did that. He's not a dummy. When it comes to hiring small people, he is a go-to guy and doesn't want to compete. However, Disney's dummies quickly fell into the spot, removing seven dwarfs and replacing them with a full-size “magic being” that looked ridiculous.
Rather than hiring seven dwarf actors who definitely needed work and wanted to “feel as seen,” Craven Disney used CGI dwarves instead.
The protest organizers said standard: “If Hollywood is about inclusion and diversity, then we could have had small talented actors in all of these roles.”
He said, “This is a history moment, but when it comes to little people, no one in Hollywood hears it.”
This is, oh, this is not the only progressive Hollywood erasing the dwarves from the remake. The unbearable Taika Waitty remakes Terry Gilliam's classic 1981 comedy Time Bandit For a dwarves-free Apple TV+ streaming series.
As for Disney, does this degenerate company reveal anything more than the fact that they are eager to expose small children to crossdressing, drag queens, homosexuals and transsexuals?
