Suspect surrenders after hours-long standoff near CIA headquarters in Virginia

He was arrested Wednesday after hours of running for police near the CIA headquarters in McLean, Virginia.

Police closed parts of Dolly Madison Boulevard in both directions due to a “barricade incident,” according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The suspect reportedly surrendered to FCPD negotiators and is in custody, Fox News learned.

“There is an ongoing incident in which law enforcement is currently responding outside the CIA headquarters,” a CIA spokesperson said the incident is ongoing. “Additional details will be available if necessary.”

The response agency included officials from the SWAT team, Arlington and Fairfax counties. FOX5 DC reported.
