Huma Abedin stiffened the first year of Anthony Weiner with a lowball $175 donation for his comeback campaign for the city council.
She could have given up to $1,050.
Abedin, 48, a longtime best friend of Hillary Clinton, divorced Sexting Ex Conton Weiner and is now engaged to Alexander Soros.
She and Weiner have a son, Jordan.
Hama's younger sister Heba kicked out for $150 for Weiner's bid to win a seat in District 2 on the east side of Manhattan.
Weiner donated $175 to his campaign and listed his profession as “Red Apple Media Host.”
Before his latest bid to the council, Weiner had a gig on 770 WABC Radio.
Weiner is a 60-year-old Perv, whose sexting scandal urged an embarrassing exit from public office over a decade ago, leading to criminal convictions and prison time to have sex with a 15-year-old girl.
He had a hard time.
But Weiner – like former governor Andrew Cuomo, who has stepped down from his office and is now running for mayor, he is about to return to the political game.
“Huma made a minimal investment in Anthony. She did what she had to do,” said political consultant George Azto.
Weiner may have made a rather intense sell when he asked for donations from Abedin, one campaign strategist said.
“That's all he asked her about everything we know,” said Jerry Goldfeder, a veteran election lawyer, about the $175 contribution.
Weiner suggested that he only asked Abedin for $175 to qualify for public fund matching.
“She gave me the biggest matchable amount, the same amount I gave,” he told the Post.
“If I win by one vote, I know who to thank.”
But there were other donors who gave more and more. Business Mogul Alexander Loft and his wife, Olga, donated $1,000.
Weiner previously served on the Council representing Brooklyn before the election to Congress.
“Anthony is a warning addict,” said Sal Albanese, a former Brooklyn councillor who served as a council's weiner.
“To be re-instituted is another way for him to get his attention and ultimately self-destruct. I've always thought he was a bit unstable.”
Weiner runs to lower Manhattan seats, including Lower East Side, Greenwich Village, Gramercy Park and Murray Hill/Kip Bay.
His rivals in the Democratic primary include state legislator Harvey Epstein, who was named in the “Saturday Night Live” skit last fall. former aides to Community Board 3 Chairman Andrea Gordiro, Virde Blasio Sarabatschu and Alison Ryan.
Abedin declined to comment.
