Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy refuses to address reports of romantic involvement of former Democratic political operatives who run a Soros-funded media network pose as independent media.
Murphy, who recently announced his separation from his wife for nearly 20 years, was recently filmed after a cozy dinner with Tara McGowan, founder and publisher of Courier Newsroom, a progressive media group that has received millions of dollars in funding from liberal megadonors such as George Soros.
Fox News Digital recently asked Murphy of Capitol Hill about his involvement with McGowan.
“I'm not going to talk about it,” replied Murphy.

McGowan has long been working on former President Barack Obama's reelection campaign for a long time, and has worked at the top position in the acronym, a digital advocacy group focusing on Democrats' super PACs, Priority Action USA and Democrats.
Murphy's bound strategists have founded the Courier Newsroom, a left-leaning media group that has received millions from the Policy Reform Fund, an advocacy group founded by Soros.
In 2021, Gabby Deutch said that the Washington Post was “a New York-based nonpartisan organization in which Washington correspondents from New York-based news guard review news sites to combat misinformation.” I wrote Op-Ed It criticised the courier newsroom as a “political operation,” and said, “it is to take advantage of the widespread loss of local journalism to create and spread what we really don't need.”

The Fund for Policy Reform provided the Courier Newsroom with three grants totaling $5 million in 2021 and 2022 to “support non-partisan journalism” aimed at promoting the common welfare of the U.S. community by providing access to information, according to its grant database.
McGowan was also close to former President Joe Biden's administration and had visited the Biden White House almost 20 times by April 2024.
