Democrats continue to eat themselves, with Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer (NY) on the menu.
Sen. Michael Bennett (D-CO) is the newest Democrat to sit at the table and avoid opportunities to protect Senate Democrat leaders. It has been reported About his comments.
When asked by Golden Colorado attendees on Wednesday, Bennett suggested that if Schumer called out to him to the sidelines, Schumer might be happy to step aside.
“And let's say that when you dodge your questions it's important for people to know when it's time for them to go,” he said. “We will have a conversation about all democratic leaders in the foreseeable future.”
Bennet was trying to obfuscate the issue before being pushed further.
“When it comes to leadership questions, I think it's always better to look into whether people are in the right place, and we're certainly going to have that conversation,” Bennett said.
Schumer was assaulted by many in his own party in early March after he touted the amount just to announce that he would support the bill by winning votes that Republicans do not have the vote to pass the government funding bill.
Several of his senators have questioned his strategic chops after a misstep that includes Bennett.
“It's really important that we can lift the interests we're fighting for, so that the American people know what we're fighting for on their behalf.

Left activists have flooded both Republican and Democrat city halls in recent weeks, disrupting Republican events, refusing Democrats to make bipartisan governance efforts and increasing resistance to President Donald Trump.
Rep. Glenn Evie (D-MD) called on Schumer to step aside at the Maryland Caucus city hall on Wednesday.
