US men’s soccer coach says Trump can help the United States win the World Cup: ‘All is possible’

American men's soccer coach Mauricio Pockettino believes he can win it all when the US hosts the World Cup in 2026.

The legendary Argentine coach has been at the helm of the US soccer team for just two years, but has already achieved great success on the horizon.

The US has hosted national tournaments alongside Canada and Mexico, and Pockettino is looking to support American fans, and the president believes it is key to a monumental run.

In an interview with Sky Sports Reporter Gale Davis, Pockettino was asked what would happen if President Donald Trump wanted to know if the US could win the World Cup.

The 53-year-old coached the entire European top league for about 15 years, and was his longest tenure with England's Tottenham Hotspur from 2014 to 2019. Pockettino has consistently transformed the franchise from mid-level clubs to the top five positions in the English Premier League, landing spots in tournaments for Europe's most famous international clubs.

This has made the league a large 30-team team divided into two meetings. Typically, European soccer leagues are at their peak with 20 teams, operating under a relegation system in which the bottom two or three franchises collide with lower leagues.
