Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (DN.Y.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) focused their criticism on Elon Musk at their first joint rally on two tours this week.

Progressive lawmakers I showed them He has been filming nationwide in Las Vegas as part of Sanders' “Fighting Olgarki” tour. Nevada Rep. Stephen Horseford, D., also attended the event Thursday.

Ocasio-Cortez argued that, like Musk, the country's wealthy people are targeting programs like Medicaid and Social Security to allow additional tax cuts to rich Americans.

“We're here because extreme concentration and corruption are taking over this country more than ever,” she said.

Ocasio-Cortez argued that the Oliheads are established in the US, where the most economic, political and technical powerful people “destroy the public interest to enrich themselves while millions of Americans pay the price.” She especially pointed out the mask.

Musk, who was the face of the Trump administration's efforts to reduce the size of the federal government and make massive layoffs at federal agencies, has repeatedly said he wants to oust fraud and waste in the federal government.

But some of his statements have fueled fears that social security, Medicare and Medicaid cuts could occur, as well as actions by Congressional Republicans.

Musk calls Social Security the “largest Ponzi scheme of history,” and its recent proposals for fraud have been widespread in qualification programs such as Social Security.

Trump has repeatedly said he would not cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, but he has also repeatedly falsely claimed that tens of millions of people who died have died. Get Social Security Payment.

Meanwhile, a budget resolution that approved the House GOP's request from the House Energy and Commerce Committee to oversee Medicaid has made it a cut of at least $880 billion to programs under its jurisdiction.

Ocasio-Cortez said the current political system is not ready to respond to threats and instead allows them through the effects of money in politics. But she insisted that people could gather and fight back.

She noted the ongoing resolution passed by Congress to keep the government open – some support from Senate Democrats – which cut funds for several federal programs. She praised Horseford and Sen. Jackie Rosen (D-Nev.) for voting for the bill.

“We need something like them with the courage to fight for the working class,” she said.

Sanders claims that there are two different Americas, some well-placed economically, with most of the rest suffering from deep income inequality. He called the “oligarchy's greed” of today's country “the worst addition.”

“They're like heroin addicts,” he said. “They need more and more, and if they destroy Social Security and Medicaid to get what they want, that's what they do.”

He said the program targeted for cuts is “deeply” necessary for families. He also condemned Trump's move on Thursday, aiming to dismantle the education sector, claiming that Pell Grant recipients would sacrifice school money and make it even more difficult for children with disabilities to lose the support they receive.

“Our job in the coming weeks and months is not only to take Trump to every stage of the road, but to do more,” Sanders said. “It's about having a vision of where our country should go.”

In addition to the Las Vegas stop, Ocasio-Cortez and Sanders are scheduled to stop in Arizona in Colorado on Thursday, Sunday and Friday.
