Secret Base discovered the legend of photography chatting
I use a lot of photographs in my work. Specifically, almost all of our videos rely heavily on Getty Images, a large library of photos that we license for professional use. At some point in the last year, we thought (probably, if we fill our pieces with a lot of Getty Images final products, we will be in touch with one of the people on the ground making something like this in the first place).
Well, this is that. We reached out to Jamie Squire, Chief Sports Photographer of Getty Images. He has been filming sporting events and more for decades and is undoubtedly responsible for some of his favorite sports images. That was amazing. We loved asking him questions, listening to him, and burning him into memories of his iconic (and strange) events. This conversation was originally supposed to be around 20 minutes, so we lasted forever (before Ryan Simmons cut it down to the right size).
