Bat-wielding homeless male attacks gun owner working on car in driveway: Report. Things don’t work out for male with bat.

A bat-wielding man attacked a man who was reportedly in a car on a driveway in East Tulsa, Oklahoma on Monday afternoon.

Tulsa Police I said Officers responded to the Admiral's nearby home with a shooting reported on the 193rd E. Avenue around 2:45pm. Officials found a man injured by a bullet on the street, authorities added that the man died after a while.

“The poor man brought a bat to the shootout.”

Police said after reviewing surveillance video and speaking to the suspected shooter, detectives determined that the incident began with a man approaching the suspected shooter, and that the pair subsequently determined that the pair had a “interrogation.”

Police said the man who was shot pulled out a bat and began using it to slap the man. The bat attack victims then pulled out their guns and fired.

Police said the suspected shooter was questioned and had not been arrested.

Police have identified the deceased man as 36-year-old Dane Sweatt. WXXA-TV reportedpolice said the sweatshirt was a homeless man known in the area and he used bats to attack a man who worked in his car in the driveway.

Police said that due to the complexity of the case, “all evidence details and findings will be submitted to the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office. The DA's office will thoroughly review the details and determine whether the charges are justified.”
