Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has bounced back to Democrats' leader Jasmine Crockett after Democrats chased him for a wheelchair, citing “nothing to hate, not just selling.”

The Texas Democrat was criticized after being called Abbott “Governor Hot Wheels” on Saturday at a human rights campaign dinner in Los Angeles, California.
Appears in Fox News“'Hanity' on Tuesday night, the Texas governor, who had been in a wheelchair since 1984 when a tree fell on his back in an unusual accident, put his comments aside.
“It's another day, another disaster by the Democrats. The reality is that they have no vision or policy. They have nothing to sell, but the Americans aren't buying it,” he told host Sean Hannity. “It's one of the reasons Texas remains red.”
Crockett represents the 30 of the Lone Star Stateth A council district covering parts of Dallas and Tarrant counties. Dallas County voted for Harris 60% to 39% in 2024, while Tarrant County went to Trump with 52% to 48%.
However, a Firebrand Democrat responded to criticism received on social media, saying the comments had nothing to do with Abbott's obstacles.
“I was not thinking about the governor's status. I was thinking about the planes, trains and cars he used to move into a community led by a black mayor,” she wrote in a statement on the X.
She branded the argument of “another distraction,” adding, “Instead of wandering around in love with all my words, my political enemy should focus on doing the work of those who chose to improve our lives.”
A Texas Democrat made some weird comments about Abbott during his weekend dinner.
“We're these hot Texas Streets, honey,” she said. “Yeah, I know we got the governor's hot wheels out there. Come now! And the hot thing about him is that he's a hot mess, honey,” she continued.
Her comments quickly sparked backlash, with Randy Weber (R-Texas) immediately introduced a resolution Tuesday denounced Crockett.
The resolution branded Crockett's remarks as “a glitchett's members of parliament” and “essentially discriminatory.”
Crockett recently made other headlines after calling for an “Global Day of Action” for Elon Musk's Tesla Company.
She also chuckled her representative Marjorie Taylor Green (R-Ga.) at a supervisory board hearing last year, saying she had “bad construction, bleach blonde, butch body.”
