Alec Baldwin's first teaser footage of a problematic Western film; rustreleased in the wake of the 2021 on-set shooting, and the director of photography, Harina Hutchins, has been killed.
The footage shows a rough story featuring The Ganger in Kansas in the 1880s, facing a life-defining trial with the help of Baldwin's grandfather.

“Level orphan Lucas McAlister (Patrick Scott McDermott) accidentally kills a rancher and is sentenced to hang,” reads the film's summary. “With a twist of fate, his estranged grandfather, the infamous outlaw Haaland Rust (Alec Baldwin), destroys him from prison and runs towards Mexico (fimmel).”
Of course, the film has a very troublesome history after Hutchins' death and subsequent prosecutions, court cases and rafts of lawsuits. A legal onslaught led Baldwin to move filming from New Mexico to Montana.
Baldwin has found himself a target for many lawsuits for shootings, not to mention criminal charges. Ultimately, the criminal charges were dropped, but it clearly paved the way out of civil lawsuits.
The judge abandoned the case under trial after finding that police and prosecutors withheld evidence from the defense.
Recently, Baldwin spoke about the tragedy and shed tears on the shooting during a segment of his series, Baldwin.
“From the bottom of my soul, I don't know where I would be if I hadn't had you and these children,” he argued with his wife about the tragic death of his crew.
