Beauty influencer settles $1 million lawsuit with Gymshark after pro-Israel post

Beauty and makeup influencer I'm calmed down A million-dollar lawsuit with a British fitness brand after saying it had cancelled its contract over Israeli message.

Alix Earle has over 7 million followers on Tiktok and hosts podcasts, but according to the lawsuit it was a post she wrote in support of Israel that sacrificed her valuable advertiser money.

Earl says Jim Shark had it I agree To pay $1 million for marketing, including three posts on your Tiktok account and four posts on your Instagram account. The agreement was cancelled after Earl posted a message in support of Israel on October 7, 2023, following a heinous attack by the Hamastero Group.

The influencer wrote, “Now, we are always standing with the people of Israel.”

The post led the anti-Israel account to batter Jim Shark with negative comments.

The 24-year-old alleged in her lawsuit that Jim Shark violated the terms of the agreement, saying her political opinions were known prior to postings about the terrorist attacks.

“My Tiktok and Instagram posts were available before the agreement was agreed to with Gymshark, so their claims cannot be supported,” she said in the lawsuit.

Founded in 2012, Gymshark has become one of the largest companies in the global fitness industry. In 2023, the company was estimated to be worth around $1.3 billion.
