The champion, the defending Formula 1 constructor, is off to a hot start on the track. Randorris began the season with a victory at the Australian Grand Prix, and teammate Oscar Piastri continued his team's good destiny with his victory at the Chinese Grand Prix. This gives McLaren three consecutive victories, dating back to Norris' victory in the 2024 season finale in Abu Dhabi.
Now, the team is announcing its first partnership with Loop as the Belgian company is McLaren's first earplug partner.
McLaren X-Loop
According to a press release, the new McLaren Formula 1 Team X-Loop Switch 2 earplugs “combining precision engineering and sound innovation to enhance off-track performance and recovery.” The earplugs on the loop switch 2 will be used by team members and “designed to allow team members to have accurate control over the sound environment.”
The earplugs on Loop Switch 2 come in three settings, from quiet mode to engage mode.
