WASHINGTON – Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lee Zeldin said Thursday he has given a $2 billion grant to a group related to Georgia's governor's two-time Democratic candidate, Stacey Abrams.

“The DOJ/FBI is under investigation and the money is frozen. It's insane for Biden administrators to give $20 billion to an organization that previously only received $100!”
Zeldin was in response to the Truth Social Post on Thursday morning. President Trump has made Abrams the face of his efforts to recapture Biden-era environmental and social justice funds as part of Elon Musk's government efficiency and cost-cutting initiative.

A large grant was awarded to the Power Forward Community in April 2024 from the environmental spending under the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act.
