Eric Adams sparks ire with much-loathed Yankees-Mets hat on MLB opening day

His fashion statement was fired – again!

Mayor Eric Adams missed Thursday as he celebrated the opening day of Major League Baseball by showing off his much troubled hat, featuring both the major and Yankee logos.

Hezoner, who irritated fans from both teams last year with a submission fence sitter, posted a photo of himself wearing a combo cap to kick off the big day.

“There's nothing like the excitement of the first day, especially in New York City!” Adams I wrote it on x Thursday.

“I hope @yankees and @mets A wonderful season. Can't wait to tear one of my favorite hats! ”

“Now, let's take the championship home!” he added – without realizing that obviously only one team can become champions.

Adams caused a hardball fire from critics in October by wearing a Yankee Smets hat in anticipation of a potential subway series between the teams.

The stubborn baseball buff called it a spinless case of boss-darsides that failed to deal with the team's long-studded duel.

On Thursday, baseball fans again swinging at mayor, calling the cap a fashion statement that no one pleases.

“We should be locked up just for this,” one fan wrote. Clear references to the corruption charges filed against the mayor could soon be removed.
