On Thursday evening, during a boxing fight between two boys in Philadelphia, police said the adult family of one of the boys left the house and shot the other boy twice and fled the scene.
The police said WPVI-TV The 13-year-old was shot twice in the stomach at 57th Street and Kingsessing Avenue around 6:40pm.
“The adults shouldn't have ruled out the situation. They haven't taken it. [to] Another level. ”
The shooting victim was taken to an area hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition, so police were added to the station.
The suspect “looks like a 45-year-old man,” police Michael Gormley told WPVI.
“When the battle took place, the families of other participants of the battle came out of the house and shot our petitioner, who fled the scene,” Gormley added to the station.
WPVI said police were in and out of the corner house throughout the evening, where one of the boys and an adult shooting suspect lived. Police found three used shell cases at the scene. WTXF-TV reported.
Gormley added to WPVI that police are “trying to find” the 45-year-old defendant shooter.
Police said that relatives of his boy who took part in the battle with the suspected shooting, both of whom know the victims of the shooting, WTXF said.
