In a “real-time” broadcast on HBO on Friday, host Bill Maher disagrees with deporting Mahmoud Khalil on free speech reasons, but said there is a double standard compared to the white supremacist group that dealt with the way Jewish students were quickly released from Coloncia.
Piers Morgan, host of Piers Morgan Uncensored, said: “If I were a young Colombian student, on the green card…and I'll start leading a group that's a bunch of white supremacists and we start terrorizing people like we're terrorizing Jewish students? Treatment differently. [from] When it comes to this kind of thing, someone else? ”
Maher replied, “right.”
“Honestly, if they were white supremacists who treated black students that way, they would be out of the country in 10 minutes,” Morgan said.
Maher replied, “It's so true. It's totally true. It's totally true.”
