In a “real-time” broadcast on HBO on Friday, host Bill Maher said Mahmoud Khalil's deportation was wrong, but “the left must admit that some beliefs are toxic and not all beliefs are the same.” And “The left doesn't admit that it's a problem. These kids are there and dealing with terrorist organizations.”
Maher said, “As always, I think there is a reasonable compromise, it always exists. I think we have to admit that we cannot disappear because of their beliefs. The left needs to acknowledge that not all beliefs are the same.
He said, “The left doesn't accept that it's a problem. These kids are there, and some kind of liberation of the terrorist organizations with the most illegal beliefs in the world, some kind of power today, this kind of thing today, and again, as long as they're there, you're going to stay there.”
