Sedona Prince not picked in WNBA draft with sexual assault claims

The skilled 6-foot-7 center Sedona Prince had not heard her name in Monday’s WNBA draft.

Prince was predicted to be as high as the second half of the first round, but a series of allegations made her one of the toughest WNBA outlooks to rate her.

Prince denied those allegations in a social media post in August and has not been charged with a crime.

“Sedona has not been charged with a crime or has committed a crime of misconduct,” Prince’s lawyer, A. Boone Almanza, He told ESPN in a statement before the draft.

“In fact, she was convicted on social media by people who used her relationship with Sedona to attract followers, build influencer careers and solve grim. To the extent she made mistakes that were different from other young people in her early dating life, it was just a decision to be in Tiktok.”

After it’s not drafted, the Prince could sign a training camp contract or continue his career abroad.
