CNN Anchor Dana Bash President Trump’s oval office live coverage has been suspended A journalist from Warner Bros Discovery-owned network Hate Our Nation will appear Monday to oppose his claims.
“I’ve heard President Trump say in his oval office that CNN hates our country, so I just want to say it for the record. CNN doesn’t hate our country,” Bash told viewers after Trump made his remarks.
“Not to mention that.”
Bash added:
Bash was cut to live coverage of Trump’s Oval Office appearance on Monday The president has launched a barrage of attacks on CNN and reporter Kaitlan Collins During the controversial exchange of Kilmer Abrego Garcia’s fate, a Salvadoran man awarded by a US court was mistakenly deported.
The exchange occurred during a meeting between Trump and El Salvador President Naive Buquere.
When Collins tried to ask about Abrego Garcia – he remains incarcerated in El Salvador despite the US Supreme Court decision that prompted him to return – Trump said, “Let’s hear the question from this very underrated anchor at CB.
Collins asked: “Are you going to ask President Bukkere to help return a man who says his administration was accidentally deported to El Salvador?”
Rather than responding directly, Trump handed over the floor to Attorney General Pam Bondy and Deputy Director Stephen Miller.
After both officials spoke, Trump stepped in just to assert, “CNN is completely leaning, because CNN doesn’t know what’s going on, so that’s why everyone is watching them.”
Collins presses again, repeating her questions, turning directly to Bucquere and asking if he would send Abrego Garcia back.
Bukere responds by saying, “We don’t smuggle terrorists into the US,” and tells Trump, “They want to have criminals released in our country. They’ll love it. They’re sick people.”
Marco Rubio and Secretary of State Miller old Collins, reminding the room that Trump had previously said he would comply with a court order requiring him to be deported by mistake.
“Why not say, “It’s not great to be excluded from our country?” ” Trump fired back.
“Why can’t you say that? Why do you go over and over again. That’s why no one sees you anymore.
As the exchange escalated, CNN’s “internal politics” was detached from the oval office feed.
Bash spoke to me immediately. “Now, we’ve heard a long live press conference with El Salvador leader Bukere inside our oval office.
Before turning his eyes to her panel, Bash opposed Trump’s wider accusations.
