It’s safe to say that you’ve never seen anything like the Colorado Superstar Travis Hunter.
Certainly, there are players who have played both ways in football before. It was never easy for either of them, and not for the Hunter. He won the Heisman Trophy last season and did so.
For a long time, it was inevitable that Hunter would become the top pick in the NFL Draft and become the center of his team. That’s insane pressure. It’s the type of spotlight he lives below, not just in college football life, but basically going back to when he first started the game.
Such a life can be worn on you or help you to flourish. The latter is the case with Hunter, and it is clear that I wanted to understand why. Thankfully, my friend from Snickers gave me the opportunity to catch up with him this week! You can see the following conversation:
I have the incredible fortune to interview many players in my career, offering me as refined and unprepared for conversations like Travis. Throughout this draft process, I can’t even imagine him sitting with various NFL teams.
What I found most interesting was that every time I asked Travis about playing both ways in the NFL, he let his play talk. He expresses his highest confidence in himself in the humblest way possible and knows he will succeed. Not to mention NFL stars, I can’t say I’ve spoken to a lot of people like that in general.
As mentioned earlier, Travis is now available on behalf of the Snickers, taking advantage of his special ability to play multiple positions.
