The mother of a Maryland woman who was brutally raped and murdered by illegal immigrants in 2023 said she believes justice has been served after her daughter’s murderer was convicted by a ju judge in Harford County Circuit Court on Monday.
Patty Morin, the mother of 37-year-old Rachel Morin, spoke with Fox News host Sean Hannity a day after Victor Martinez Hernandez Convicted About all counts of first-degree murder, first-degree rape, third-degree sexual offences, and tricks.
“So when we heard the verdict, it was very sad because we had to relive and see everything our daughter had suffered. But at the same time, I was convinced that this was the murderer and that justice had been served,” she said.

Rachel Morin was attacked and killed by Martinez Hernandez in August 2023 while on the MA & PA Heritage Trail in Bel Air.
The Harford County State Law Office said the mothers of five were cruelly beaten and raped by Salvadra immigrants who were eventually arrested in Tulsa, Oklahoma several months after the murder.
Patty Morin described her daughter’s death in horrifying detail, telling “Hanity” that Martinez Hernandez turned Rachel’s head over and looked like a crushed eggshell.

“She was literally bruises, contoured, rubbing all over her body. The murderer dragged her 150 yards as she surged from her head to the tunnel. And he placed her on the wall of the tunnel and raped her. You could see her body. “So you can see the outline of her body and the blood in the wall of the tunnel.”

She said she was angry with the Biden administration for the death of her daughter, and former President Joe Biden did not call for Pathetic Dol’s offer.
“There was no action from Joe Biden, Kamala Harris against the Democrats. [Alejandro] Anyone in Mallorcas, Maryland. None of the senators did anything to help search for my daughter’s murderer,” Patty explained, adding she received a call from Gov. Wes Moore, D-MD.

Patty said her grandson was struggling after reliving her mother’s murder at trial.

One of her granddaughters stood up and began to cry when she remembered the last time she spoke to her mother.
“When she came out of court after her testimony, you heard her, but she couldn’t contain it anymore. She was just sobbing hard. It just hurts,” Patty Morin said.

Martinez Hernandez is set to be sentenced and could face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
