On Tuesday evening, a handful of protesters were escorted, arrested, two people arrested, and two people arrested.
The event took place at Acworth Community Center in Peach, where Greene began talking about constituent services.
According to For police, six participants were escorted and three more arrested. Two of them were also arrested.
“Well, I welcome you guys,” Green said in the confusion.
“This is not a political rally. This is not a protest. If you want to stand up and protest, scream and chant, we’ll have you removed, just like the man was abandoned,” the councillor later added, “This is a peaceful town hall.”
“Now, this is a peaceful town hall, a woman, a gentleman. This shouldn’t have to happen,” she said.
Greene shared a video of protesters being taken away and defended police officers who faced criticism about how they did themselves.
“These protesters were the second most brawl that the town hall began, aggressive, aggressive and lost control. She noted the hypocrisy, adding that “there is a lot of video footage that absolutely proves that the protesters are out of hand, and that they are resisting and resisting the police.”
When asked about the chaos after city hall, Greene said in America, “It shouldn’t be that way.”
“The US voted overwhelmingly in November for President Trump, Republican control of the House and Senate, and for being in the voting booth for how people should treat their business,” she said. “There’s no reason for screaming, screaming, outrageous and outrageous protest. It confuses the entire event for everyone there.”
“And one of the most important things I do is provide component services, which was exactly what I wanted to promote and talk about tonight,” she continued, noting that this kind of backlash wouldn’t stop her.
“I’m not blocked. My job is representative of those who voted for my district and I have to represent the entire district. I mean, I have work to do and that job is very important. No, I’m not blocked,” she emphasized.
“But I will tell you stories you think are very important. I have the most death threat in Congress. Sometimes I have more death threats than Johnson speaks, and that shouldn’t be.”
“Whatever the party they represent, this is not the way for an elected leader,” the Georgia lawmaker added.
