Pentagon official John Ullyot, who was sidelined after removal of Jackie Robinson post, resigns 

A former Pentagon top spokesman announced his resignation last month after resigning from his resignation on his role in removing the Department of Defense website, celebrating MLB Trail Blazer’s Jackie Robinson.

“In rare cases where content is intentionally or mistakenly deleted, it is outside the clearly outlined scope of the instructions, so we will direct the components and modify the content to recognize the hero for dedicated service along with fellow Americans,” Ullyot added.

The Robinson story was soon restored on the DOD website.

Urit was then replaced by Shawn Parnell as a spokesman for the Top Pentagon.
