The 2025 NFL Draft is almost on top of us, and the team is always looking for a way to their pick roster. Specifically, in the second half of the round, you may be trying to decide to add deep fosterable players and priority practice teams, but if you have a location open with kickers or punters, you may be able to add important pieces.
The class of punters and kickers this year was not as rich as it was a few years ago, and only one was considered draftable this year after NFL draft experts from 32 NFL team sites voted.
Andres Borgeles, Kicker, Miami
The Borregales have the accuracy and legs that make it as an NFL kicker, becoming 18/19 in 2024, including two field goals over 50 yards. He is also known to come in high pressure situations. He doesn’t have the strongest legs there, but there is consistency. His brother spent the 2021 offseason with the Buccaneers and stayed on their practice squad that year.
Other kickers and punters that can be drafted

We were able to see some more that their names are called on the broadcast, especially by teams who have clear needs at either of the two spots but are set quite a bit else. That way they don’t have to negotiate with players as priority UDFAs.
