Rev. John MacArthur said he is “very exaggerated rumors of my death.” Pastor of Grace Community Church In California, he hadn’t preached since last year when a series of health issues landed him in hospital. He is his book, commentary, and Blessings for you broadcast. He is 85 years old.
“I feel good. I’m not sick at all,” he said in the video he posted. Blessings for you Social media accounts. “My mind is working well, my lungs are working well.
“There’s nothing on the device I’m experiencing. I don’t have heart failure. In fact, my mind is probably stronger than the last decade of my life. I’m very careful from my doctor.”
MacArthur has undergone a series of heart procedures over the past few months.
“The problem for me was, I had lung surgery and three heart surgery, so when they were trying to adjust everything, they put me in the hospital and I had to be there for seven weeks,” he said. “So, what I can say at this point is, I feel good. I’m ready to go back to the public and pick up my ministry again.”
He told X (formerly Twitter) along with a smiley emoji, “Rumours of my death are very exaggerated.

He last preached at Grace Community Church in November and then reentered the hospital. In March he missed the Shepherds Conference, an annual event for men with church leadership held at the church.
“I found myself on my last rap, which takes on a new meaning when I know you’re on the short edge of a candle,” he said in March. “But I thank and praise God for everything that God has allowed me to be part of it, and for everything that has been accomplished by His Word.”
