Anti-Trump Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), the facility, said she was “worried” about using her voice, claiming “we’re all retaliatory.”
When asked what she would say to those she feared or represent those she feared, Markovsky took on an incredibly calm tone.
“We’re all afraid,” she said, dramatically pausing. “That’s a pretty statement.”
“But we are… we are in a place where time and I don’t know, I certainly don’t have — I’ve not been here before,” she said.
“And I’m often very concerned about using my voice because retaliation is real,” Murkowski insisted. “That’s not true, but that’s what you asked me to do and I’m going to use my voice to make the most of my abilities.”
“And sometimes it’s seen as ‘Well, that’s pretty confrontational.’ I also use my mother’s charm as I learned as a young girl to communicate directly with people who have changed me in this way.

It remains unclear what “retaliation” she is talking about, but the actual retaliation and laws that took place against President Trump and political opponents during the Biden era were not mentioned in the clip of her reaction.
These statements aren’t surprising as Murkowski has long clarified her position on Trump and has supported Nikki Haley in the GOP primary last year. She has since balanced her anti-Trump behaviour, spending her time flying under the radar, and warns her colleagues to stand up to Trump when necessary.
“When an executive is basically hit by Congress or rolls over Congress, when we allow it, we are handing over our responsibility,” she said during an MSNBC appearance. Morning Joe.
“You are absolutely a 100% supporter of President Trump and I believe that you can still stand up for the Senate system for the legislative division with the authorities specifically stipulated by the Constitution,” she argued.
Murkovsky won a call-out from President Trump on True Social this month.
