He will play United at Athletic on May 1st and will hold a return in a week. The match between Wolves and Bournemouth is before the first leg, with United going to Brentford between European equipment.

A thrilling 5-4 extra victory over Lyon sent United 7-6 in total, winning the trophy and keeping their hopes of competing in the Champions League. At least three young players — Harry Amas, Chido Obi and Aiden Haven — are lined up to get more game time than they were.

Amorim brought the 18-year-old accumulation in 100 minutes with Lyon on Thursday for his European debut after appearing in two Premier Leagues for the defender. Amorim, who is intended to manage his team to reach the final, has been on the bench for five other players who have appeared at the Academy this season, with Jadan Camason, Godwill Cuconki, Jack Moorehouse, Sekow Cone and currently injured Toby Collia.

“It’s not the best, best, best, best, best, best, best, just to play some kids, because we need a strong base to actually show what we can do,” Amorim said. “And sometimes there’s a surprise. Aiden just played – and I got a lot of injuries in that moment, so I can be honest – but today I’m thinking of Aiden as my player. So when he’s ready – and of course he’s facing the competition to do so with a team – he’s ready to play.

“Amass really worked out. [against Lyon]. Chidow, he played very well when he played. It’s a difficult moment, not the right moment for kids to play, but if we have to do it, we do it. ”

Amorim was asked how much risk he would take with his choice. “We have to look,” he said. “The players like it [Diogo] Darot, they’re always ready, but he was really tired. People who are injured try to save them. ” Players who have recently returned from injuries include Cobbie Mine, Mason Mount and Luke Shaw.

Amorim named Mateus Cunya after the Sunday visitor, the wolf, said he had “real quality players.” The head coach was asked if the target was the Brazilian forward, who has 16 goals this season and welcomes the summer move. “I remembered Masteus, so I gave an example. Amorim called on supporters to support the team against the wolves. “I know it’s a bad thing to ask fans something this season, but we need them on Sunday,” he said.
