This is not easy. Piston is not afraid of the Knicks and steals one of the first two games in the yard. However, Branson is the best player in the series, carrying the Knicks past Detroit in MSG’s memorable Game 7.

The Knicks still didn’t know how to reinforce their defenses, and Cunningham lit them all season. However, they were able to slow him down with OG Anunoby, and experience and talent could be dominated with the rest of the lineup. If they can keep the starter’s feet fresh, they squeeze by the piston… barely.

The Knicks stumbled until the end of the regular season, and the Pistons looked particularly like matchups in each other’s four games. They push the Knicks to the brink, but the Knicks have more offensive firepower and experience, which will make a difference. It’s not time for the Pistons yet.
