Dr. Oz’s daughter first spoke after the child passed out in an oval office as President Donald Trump was asking a question from a reporter on Friday.

11-year-old Filomena Djovanovic collapsed near a decisive desk on Friday shortly after her grandfather. Dr. Mehmet Oz has been sworn in as administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services by Health Episodes of Robert F. Kennedy, Junior Folimena, secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Media officials scrambled when White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt ordered them from an oval office. Daphne Oz was able to see him walking through a determined desk and chin-shaking Filomena before ordering the camera to be turned off.

Food writer Daphne, who co-hosted the ABC culinary talk show “The Chew” from 2011 to 2017, thanked the White House medical team for taking care of her daughter and thanked Trump for paying attention to her children.

“More than anything, I would like to thank President Trump for getting in the way to make our children feel comfortable in stressful situations. He was extremely warm, caring and generous as he spent personal time with each at his determined desk and presented him with treasures to bring home,” Daphne wrote.

Dr. Oz, who hosted the syndicated television program of the same name for 13 years before running for the Senate as a Republican in the Pennsylvania Senate in 2022, will oversee the $1.5 trillion budget for the federal health insurance program Medicaid, Medicare and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Oz lost Senate competition with Democrat John Fetterman, but was appointed to run the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services by Trump.

He confirmed 53-45 in the Senate on April 3rd.
