ESPN’s Shannon Sharpe Accused of Rape in $50 Million Lawsuit

ESPN’s first host, Shannon Sharpe, was accused of rape in a $50 million lawsuit filed in Nevada on Sunday.

The lawsuit was filed through celebrity lawyer Tony Buzby on behalf of a woman who remains anonymous and is only identified as “Jane Doo.”

Filing Appeal According to TMZ, the Sharp has sexually assaulted a woman multiple times over the past few years after meeting her for the first time at a gym in Los Angeles in 2023.

The woman claims that Sharp mercilessly chased her with constant texts, meeting requests and date requests. She also says that she and Sharp were engaged in mutually consensual sexual relationships. However, she goes on to say that Sharp was extremely demanding, dominant and abusive during their relationship.

“He demanded complete control over her time and body,” the lawsuit states.

Jane Doe claims she was frequently terrified when the former NFL star erupted in anger at her.

“The plaintiff tried to share her location with a friend on iPhone just in case,” Filing said. “But Sharp saw her doing this. The moment he realized that she was doing, he grabbed her by her neck and said, “If you do it again, I’ll kill you.” ”

She also claims she is the target of sexual assault after Sharpe posted a “accidental” recording on Instagram last September. She points out that the woman on the recording was not her.

Eventually, Sharpe apologized after the audio of him having a sexual relationship with a woman was “mistaked” on Instagram Live.

“Obviously, I’m embarrassed. I’ve heard audio, very, very private and one of your most intimate details. Night cap.

But Doe now argues that the recordings played by Sharpe led to a debate between them that ended up with Sharpe raping her. And she argues that it wasn’t the only thing that Sharp sexually forced her.

“Women can say yes to consensual sexual relationships with men 99 times, but when they say “no,” they say “no” and say “no” no,” reads the first page of the complaint.

He adds that he submitted “Defendant Shannon Sharp is a man used to getting what he wants.” “I can’t fully understand this basic concept. ‘No.'”

“It takes a lot of courage to stand up to people with power, fame and money,” Buzby said in a statement. “I look forward to getting this case in court.”
