An ESPN spokesman responds to the lawsuit filed by Shannon Sharpe, the first to Take Host Shannon Sharpe, by a woman who alleges that Sharpe raped her.
Sharp is the target of a lawsuit from “Jane Do” on Monday, claiming that she raped her at least twice during a “abusive” relationship that lasted several years.
But Sharp’s lawyer, Lanny J. Davis, calls the case a “shakedown” and “filled with lies.”
“It’s filled with lies, distortions, misrepresentations and it’s not a success,” Davis said. I saidaccording to a pro football story.
Davis also claims that the unnamed woman “secretly documented” her sexual encounter with Sharp, and uses it to blackmail Espanner. Davis claims that the videos they saw are “heavy edited and completely out of context,” and that they did not seduce the complete, unedited tape.
“All of the secret tapings were part of her planned setup as part of her blackmail plan,” Davis said.
Sharp, Davis, adamantly denys allegations of coercion or misconduct, particularly the serious lies of “rape” – and fails to submit to what he considers as a malicious attempt to intimidate. ”
It is clear that these recorded sexual encounters could form a central part of future cases if they go to court.
Tony Buzby, a woman’s lawyer, argues that Sharp is abusive and dominant and that despite his power and wealth, he cannot escape the treatment of women.
“Defendant Shannon Sharp is a man used to getting what he wants,” Buzby said. ‘no. ‘”
