Mystery engulfs trendy NYC neighborhood as locals try to ID bozo who’s dousing pedestrians with unknown fluids

They pour into evidence.

Several pedestrians suck unknown liquids inhaled, and after walking by the infamous building and smearing eggs, it becomes unsettling to pay attention to the trendy Williamsburg.

Splashholes throwing liquids and other objects from the two-story building of Edge Community Apartments on Kent Avenue can avoid identification, allowing locals to get rid of amateur detectives in a neighborhood group chat.

“The building doesn’t do anything about it. They don’t care,” cried Magdalena J., 31, who lives in the building.

“We don’t want to be hit by anything. It’s ridiculous. It’s getting worse and worse,” Magdalena told the Post.

One building resident who refused to give her name described the perpetrator as an older woman with “crazy” pink hair.

The amateur Sherlock Holmes believes that the motive of the perpetrator is simple. She was “angry,” she said.

The strange attack first attracted widespread attention when the December victim said she suffered from chemical burns after she splashed out.

Another victim said he was hit by something that smelled like “bleach mixed with chlorine,” but a new couple in Williamsburg were welcomed in a “tsunami” called “used cooking oil.”

Last week, a 30-year-old man called 911 attacked “unknown liquids,” but officers couldn’t understand which apartment was responsible for the dumping.

A few days later, a “bunch of eggs” was thrown out the window, narrowly missing people walking around.

When the post was about to reach the suspicious damper Thursday, both female and male voices could be heard from behind the door, but they refused to open it.

Clifton management said it was in the case but could not reveal details about the residents’ dampers.

“We are aware that the incident has occurred and are fully working with the authorities to correct the issue as quickly as possible. Given that this is an active NYPD investigation, we cannot provide further comment at this point,” the spokesman said in a statement.

Many locals are eschewing the northeast side of the street between 5th and 6th Avenues to the north.

Joss Ecoltrial, manager of Brooklyn Harvest Market Store, warns the cashier to take another route.

“Be careful walking down there because that might happen to you,” Cortorial said he told his staff.

Neighbors in the surrounding apartment buildings have created new group chats and theorize the person behind the attack.

Isaac, who lives around the corner, suspects that only water cannons were water a few months ago, but he said he jumped up.

His wife, Rachel, said it was a “dangerous” situation and that the locals were at the end of their “wisdom” about it.

“Bleach is the worst,” Rachel said. “Cops don’t respond to it until something really bad happens.”
