On WBUR’s “Here and Now” aired on Wednesday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) responded to the editorial board’s debate. New York Times Democrats moved too far to the left of social issues by stating that the NYT editorial board “represents establishment.”
Co-host Robin Young said,[T]He is the New York Times The editorial committee recently argued that Democrats have moved too far to the left on social issues. ”
Sanders said, “Well, I know. New York Times The editorial committee represents the facility. That’s what they represent. ”
Young said, “We’ve constantly heard and asked from progressive people who say, for example, they don’t really understand how to play in sports, or they say they were really uncomfortable with the Gaza movement. Listen more?”
Sanders said, “Of course, parties need to listen more. There’s a lot to be proud of. It’s leading the right to women to control their bodies – something that’s under attack right now – led the way to fight general rights in pursuit of gay rights. In America today, Elon Musk owns more wealth than the bottom 53% of American households.
