The NFL draft is just hours away, and the Sportsbook could potentially cut the entire market when it starts airing. This means that bettors don’t have valuable time left to put the finishing touches on their cards.
And we know who is number one overall, but while each of the next three picks has a massive favorite, there are still some interesting betting opportunities on the board as we get closer to the show.
Here’s the best bet using the odds still available as of Thursday morning:
Overall Best Bet: 2.5 or more quarterbacks in Round 1 (-110, BET365)
This price may seem a bit shady, but let’s bite it.
Come Ward ranks first overall for the Tennessee Titans. So, they’re basically betting on whether both Chedure Sanders and Jackson Dirt will be selected in Round 1.
Sanders liked to go first overall when that market opened a year ago and was considered to be a top ten rock until this week, so it feels logical to assume he’s not going out of round one, even if there aren’t many teams that need quarterbacks late in the first round.
The Browns, Giants, Jets Saints and Steelers are all candidates to choose quarterbacks in the early rounds, but seeing cowboys and dolphins on that route is not a major shock either.
Even if the Browns, Giants, Jets and Saints pass Sanders and Darts early, they may be interested in returning to Round 1.
There was also momentum for Tyler Schaff and Jalane Milllow to go to Round 1. So there’s enough out here to guarantee a bet of -130 or more.
Top 10 Bets: Chedure Sanders (+250, betmgm)
The talk of the NFL Draft is that Sanders stocks are falling and could fall to the Steelers at No. 21 or even need to return to Round 2 on Friday.
It’s considered crazy a week ago, so let’s go with Occam’s razor bet here.
The Browns, Giants and Saints can all use quarterbacks, and everyone chooses among the top 10.
Sanders is considered the second best signal current in this draft.
Sometimes one plus one becomes two equal.
Best Giants Bet: Travis Hunter is third overall (+650, BET365)
The chances of Abdul Carter supporting him going with Abdul Carter at this location are overwhelming, but I think there’s plenty of smoke around the Browns that will surprise them and leave the Hunter on the table.
In that case, the Giants can either take away or haul the two-way sense by trading down to allow another team to choose a hunter and select the hunter to get a quarterback in round one.
This isn’t nearly my favorite bet on the board, but if you’re looking for a sweat on a Big Blue pick, this is how I tackle it.
Best Jet Bet: Armand Membou goes to 7th overall (+210, BetMgm)
This number has been drifting a bit over the past few days, but it appears to be about the possibility that Armand Membou will be chosen ahead of Jets, rather than passing off an offensive lineman.
If the choke holds the first six picks, the Membo should be there for Jet to choose. If so, it seems they’re going that route.
Best Dirt Throw: Selecting Quarterback Dallas Cowboys (150/1, betmgm)
The Cowboys are planning to pick 12th, and most mocks will have them choose wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, but Jerry Jones is not the one who sits in his hands if he has the chance to shake things up.
Jones said they are working on some “substantial deals.”
Perhaps Chedure Sanders falls to Dallas on No. 12, and Jones can’t resist the idea of choosing the son of former Cowboys star Dion Sanders.
Or will you replace it back to the later stages of the first round to choose Sanders or Jackson Dirt?
Jones may bluff, but considering how long these odds are in BetMgm, it’s worth a bet.

Best Benefits for Round 2: Jalen Mill Law to Miami Dolphins (35/1, betmgm)
Perhaps this bet will be resolved in round 1, but most mocks will go to Jalen Milroe on Friday, so we will avoid it.
The Miami Dolphins have Tua Tagovailoa in-house, but his history of injury is what it is, and the Dolphin may explore the option of bringing in another signal character to work with Tagovailoa and Zach Wilson.
Milllaw has many advantages, but it is not considered a finished product, so it is not surprising to see the dolphin grabbed him with the idea of patiently developing him.
