The New York Giants selected Penn State Edge Rusher Abdul Carter for the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
New York has traveled back and forth at the rumored factory. I have a big question. Do they choose a quarterback?
The same goes for last season, but in the end, Malik Narvers, who finished sixth overall. After another poor season, the Giants were set up to take on the talent of another potential generation, and they did not lose their Nittany Lions products.

Carter was a finalist for the Big Ten defensive player of the year, Bednarik Awards and was the first team national after leading the country in Ross tackle in season 23.5. He scored 12 sacks over 16 games with 68 tackles and four passes defended.

However, there are questions about Carter’s health after a stress response in his leg. However, he recently made a positive medical renewal when the exam showed he had a cure and no surgery needed.
Carter will work with defensive tackles from two of the league’s top defenders, edge rushers Brian Burns and Dixter Lawrence.
Cavon Thibodeau, the Giants’ first round picked up in 2022, is also part of this stacked line of defensiveness.
Carter is also from Philadelphia and has developed a stubborn Eagles fan. But it’s coming to an end as they are his NFC East Rivals. This is the team that the Giants have won the Super Bowl over the Kansas City Chiefs twice a year.
