Below are features you may or may not know to take you AirPods Experience to the next level. The following features are for the original, second and first generation AirPods Pro.

Apple Watch and AirPods (apple)
1. Go to Hands-Free and combine AirPods with Apple Watch
If you want to use you AirPods However, you can use AirPods on your Apple Watch because you don’t want to hug the extra weight of your iPhone. To configure AirPods for use with your Apple Watch:
- I’ll go to you Apple Watch
- Press Crown On the right side of the Apple Watch
- Tap setting
- Scroll down bluetooth Tap
- The watch is now search For air pods
- Grab the air pod Lift the lid up. Press and hold Button on the back of the case. This will make AirPods a discoverable mode
- Tap where it says Airpods are not paired On your Apple Watch. I should say it now connection
2. Use the air pod as a microphone
If you want to record audio (voice memos, calls, etc.) or use a voice-enabled app, you can prioritize a specific AirPod as a microphone. To turn this feature on:
- I’m going setting On your iPhone
- click bluetooth
- Under my device, tap (i) Information icon Next to the air pod
- Select microphone
- Select Automatically switch AirPods (default), Always leave Airpod or Always on the right airpod

3. Share your audio with others
iOS 13.1 or later (required for full functionality) allows you to temporarily share two sets of AirPods or Beats headphones from your iPhone with H1, H2, or W1 chips (AirPods Pro). Both devices must be iPhone 8 or later, iPad Pro 2nd Gen or Newer, iPad Air 3rd Gen or later, or iPad Mini 5th Gen or later.
- Wear AirPods (connected to iPhone) and start playing audio (optional, but visibility is recommended)
- open Control Center
- Tap Airplay icon (Triangle with circle)
- Select Share audio
- Bring another person’s headphones near your iPhone and place your AirPods in that case
- Open the lid
- I’ll keep it Pairing button Until you see the prompt
- If not detected, make sure your headphones are in Pairing mode (Hold the case button)
- Select Their headphones From the Shared Audio Menu
- Friends may need to tap participate If you want to share via iPhone proximity, on the device

4. Find the lost airpod

Most users know that they can replay the AirPods’ double pressure once or twice, or pause any audio they are listening to or answering calls. However, you can customize your AirPods settings to provide different features. If you want to customize each stem to do something else:

- under Press and hold AirPods,choice left or right Then choose what happens when you double-press that airpod. Noise control, SIRI, answer call, mute and mute or End the call

7. Find out what lights of different colors mean
Your Status Light AirPods The case uses colours and flashing patterns to indicate battery level, charging status and pairing status. Locations vary by model (front of AirPods Pro/3/4/Wireless case, inside for AirPods 1/2 lightning).
Stable light
- green (Airpods on the case, the lid is open): Both the airpod and the case are fully charged
- green (Airpod without a case, open the lid): Only the case is fully charged
- Amber/Orange (For AirPods, open the lid): AirPods are currently charging (not full yet)
- Amber/Orange (Airpod without a case, open the lid): The case is less than one fully charged (not necessarily “one charge is still”)
Blinking light
- Flash White: AirPods are in pairing mode (ready for setup)
- Flash Amber/Orange: Indicates pairing errors that require a reset as well as a reset
- No light: The case or air pod is completely drained

Charging behavior
- Plugin/Wireless Charging: amber =Actively recharge. green = Fully charged
- Optimized Charging (PRO/3/4): Pauses charging at 80% if enabled (setting > bluetooth > AirPods))
8. Use AirPods as hearing aids
One of the most impressive features of AirPods is that they can turn your iPhone into a remote listening device and your AirPods into a hearing aid. If you are in a noisy environment and can’t hear the person standing next to you, your iPhone can be placed near the person you want to hear, and the iPhone microphone will send whatever you say to the AirPods connected to your iPhone, making them easier to hear. To enable this feature:
- It will open Control Center On your iPhone (usually access it by swiping the phone screen)
- Tap Hearing icon
- Tap Live Listen
- Place your iPhone near the sound source (operation up to 50 feet)

9. Reach Siri without pulling out the phone
largely AirPods You can access Siri hands-free by enabling Siri and connecting to your Apple device. If your hands are full or you don’t want to use your iPhone, say “Hey, Siri” to send a text, check the battery life, skip songs, set a timer, etc. Note: With AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4, you can also say “Siri” without having to say “Hey, Siri.” To use Siri with AirPods:
- Make sure Siri is enabled on your device (settingS> siri)
- There is an air pod in the ear “A little bit silly.” (Or just “Siri” Supported models)
- You can also activate Siri by pressing or tapping on AirPods.Double tap, Press and hold or Digital Crown (Depends on model)
10. Answer or reject a call without making a sound or pressing a button
You can use AirPods to use the head gesture feature to answer or reject a call without speaking a word or pressing a button. If this feature is on, you can nod your head up and down, nod left and right, or accept or refuse calls while wearing the airpod. To enable head gestures once the airpod is connected to your iPhone:
- I’m going setting
- Tap Name of the AirPods at the top
- Tap Head gesture
- toggle Head gesture
- Choose your favorite motion I’ll accept/reply (Up and down or left and right)
- Choose your favorite motion Reject/Reject (Up and down or left and right)
Now when you receive the call, Siri announces the caller and you can answer your head or shook your head in decline without touching your phone or AirPods.
