Chedur Sanders’ fall from the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft remains a hot topic.

Sanders’ tendency to hold the ball for a long period of time was also scrutinized.
That and other factors seemed to contribute to the chatter that Sanders stock was falling before the draft. The New York Giants signed veteran quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jamis Winston earlier this offseason, but the team was still linked to Sanders.
New York eventually chose to go back to the first round and choose former Ole Miss quarterback Jackson Dirt.

ESPN star and former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark showed a strong response to the former team he scored against Sanders while on the watch in the first round.
“What a god!” Clark said.
