On FNC’s “Ingraham’s Angle,” Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) inseparably criticized an inseparable leftist protest group for the allegations he had made about the Republican Party and the current administration.
Roller described their efforts as “astroturfing and gas lighting.”
“Mike, the group, says this so-called town hall offers very limited opportunities for actual public engagement,” said host Kayley McKennanny. “That’s part of their statement. I think it’s funny that these organizers of this event said they might have something to pass your City Hall Day.
“Kairy, this is all astroturfing and gaslight,” replied Lawler. “You know, a lot of these people are actually well and obviously after the election, they’re very upset about the outcome, and now they’re mobilizing democratic activists, working with left-wing elected officials like Chuck Schumer to mobilize people in these town halls. I had a 1,200 in-person event.
