Trump reassigns Mike Waltz to a new post following Signal scandal

President Donald Trump has announced that Mike Waltz, now his national security adviser, will instead become the United Nations US ambassador.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio will serve as interim national security adviser until the president appoints a new candidate to play his role forever. The announcement of reassigning the waltz comes just hours after multiple reports began to arise about rumored firing from the administration due to his role in the current infamous signal chat leak.

Given his responsibility in “Signalgate,” we can expect the senator to put a lot of pressure on the candidate during his confirmation hearing.

“We are pleased to announce that we will nominate Mike Waltz as our next U.S. ambassador,” Trump said. I said on Truth Social Post on Thursday. “Age of uniformed on the battlefield, Congress and as my national security adviser, Mike Waltz worked hard to put our country's interests first. He would do the same in his new role.”

“Interim, Secretary of State Marco Rubio will serve as national security adviser and will continue his strong leadership in the State Department,” Trump added. “Together, we will continue to fight tirelessly to make America safe again.”

Rep. Elise Stefanik, a Republican from New York, originally served as the UN ambassador and even went through the Senate confirmation process. Her appointment was eventually rescinded after Speaker Mike Johnson raised a historically narrow majority of House Republicans.

Another vacancy in the House GOP will further reduce their majority, making it nearly impossible to pass meaningful laws, especially during the ongoing battle for settlement.

In particular, Waltz was appointed to a role that requires confirmation from the Senate. He was given responsibility for him.”SignalGate“We can expect the senator to put a lot of pressure on the candidate during his confirmation hearing.
