“When I hear this kid's story before or in the combine, “If I want a new culture in the locker room, I'm the one who does it, I can turn it around,” which means that he's very high on himself, and I think he was very uncomfortable and made many of the coaches and general managers in the league uncomfortable,” Esiason said on WFAN660. wireless. “I'm telling you now – and after talking to three different people in the NFL this weekend, I know this – they didn't even have him on their board. They took him off and took him off as the owner said, “Take him off.” ”
Telling what he had said to the owner, Esiason recalled, “I don't want that guy. I don't want someone who is qualified for our team.”
