Pistons fans had sent a message to Jalen Brunson ahead of Game 6 on Thursday night.
But he sent them something even bigger.
Detroit news has been posted Images of the Metro Detroit Billboard social media pair call Branson a “mother flopper.”
An anonymous donor bought a billboard ad that scorned Branson, but it was unclear whether he was near Little Caesar Arena, near Comerica Park and Fordfield.
The message to the Knicks player reads, “Branson, you're your mother's flopper.”
Pistons fans also took Dagger to the arena and chanted “Flopper” loudly at Branson later in the fourth quarter.
He answered with 40 points and 3 pointers and sent the Knicks on a date with the Celtics and piston packing.
The Billboard is more family-friendly than the comments Jaren Duren made in the Knicks' 106-103 loss to the Pistons in Game 5.
Duren said to Branson over the course of the game: “You flop the mother fuchel.”
Pistons fans serenaded Brunson with a vulgar hymn during Game 3, when the Knicks beat Detroit's pistons.
That night, fans chanted “F-K You, Brunson” every time they got the ball.

Ausar Thompson was chiding the Knicks star for “foul sale” after Detroit lost in Game 1.
However, none of the criticisms seemed to bother Branson.
“It's part of the game,” Branson said before Game 5.
“I don't know how else to say it, but I like how I use my body to get off the defender and find a way to adapt.”
Branson and the Knicks continue their season in Boston on Monday.
